Just had a offer of £600 by PM. Any more offers before this is sold?

Thanks

Scott

I'm setting a cut off time of 12 noon tomorrow (Monday 31st Jan).

If no higher bids than the current £600 it's sold.

Thanks

I offered £600 which was accepted, I then get an email asking for vat to be added to the price previously agreed then to top that I get another email saying it has been sold to someone else for more money and hope that isn't a problem.

What do you think Scott?

Don't you just love doing business with people like that!

Surprised you weren't given the chance to make an new offer at the least.

Thats why I asked you to post your offer in the thread, in the future I'm going to insist people post there offers. This way this won't happen again. We had an offer a few minutes before the end time by PM, I wasn't aware of this until after I'd emailed you. He had also sent payment by this time.

Thanks

Scott

despite several communications no response from buy offer sent by this member ... (some time ago fyi)

I set a cut off of 12 noon and a member sent me a PM at 11.50 with a higher offer and the domain was sold to him the following day with out problem. (I'm sure he will back me up on this when he reads this)

The mistake I made was to email Paul, it was a genuine mistake and i've said sorry several times. It wasn't the case that i had a bigger offer a day later and risked my feed back for a few quid. In fact the buyer only paid £610, I was just sticking to the rules I had set for the sale.

As I posted above I will only post domains for sale in future if the offers are posted in the thread to avoid this happening again :-(

I'm here - and what Scott has said about my transactions is 100% true

Hi Paul, I will sort a invoice out for you today but can I ask if your VAT registered? If so can I put the VAT on top?

Also could I have a company name or your name for the invoice.

That's 20 hours 28 minutes after the cut off time for the end of the sale.

Make your own minds up

As my post above, the message I sent Paul was sent by mistake, I will say sorry again, sorry. It was a genuine mistake. No money changed hands, I didn't scam anyone, I just sent a message to the wrong person. I messaged Paul a couple of hours later when the mistake was spotted.

Leeds1 was the highest bidder at the cut off time, Paul had stated that £600 was the highest he would pay. The domain was sold to the correct person.

Can this please be the end of this now? :(

Its your domain and you do what you like with it. Seems fairly clear cut to me, these hiccups happen from time to time.

No big deal from what I can see.

It seems an honest mistake, I work with scott on a daily basis on his websites and he has always been prompt with payments and I've never been messed about. I'm sure scott has made a genuine mistake and it won't happen again.

we all mess up from time

We all mess up from time to time

to be honest i prefer thoose were everyone places they bids in the open
in the thread

everyone knows were they stand and can be seen so no arguments

i wish i could have bid in fact does the new owner want to sell now
