Best to put the offer in to the correct company and person as I have found out to my cost. Turns out that the administrator had been trying to sell the domain to J. Menzies who have a company by that name, but they didn't want it!
Apparently the name has been sold to the radio company and contracts exchanged. There are some technical legal difficulties in the transfer, but it won't expire, it will be renewed.
