So who's going to be the first to start a january sales thread (that starts on boxing day??)

Come back Lee !!!

Yea right - stupid things you bought for Xmas sale.

I couldn't sell these on ebay -
APPLE CORER BY GEFU (DE), KERN-OTTO PROFESSIONAL CORER on eBay (end time 06-Dec-09 12:00:21 GMT)

£4 post paid if anyone fancies one. Only a dozen left ...

For another £1 (£5 total) I will throw in a plastic "rock" with a compartment in it for hiding a back door key - sounds like a good idea, but if you're selling them mail order you've got addresses of people with keys hidden in rocks in the back garden, so nobody buys them ... WTH give it to your Granny ...

Crabfoot - funniest post of the year!

PM me your Paypal info and I'll buy both for a fiver!

OOH TA! PM sent ...

Actually, the plastic rock can make a really good "surprise package" if you want to give a piece of bling to your dearest one!

The idea only occurred to me today, as I was stuffing a pair of ear-rings and a pendant into one.

In view of the fact that I have thought of a new marketing strategy, should I increase the price? The original catalogue retail on those rocks was £2.99 plus £2 postage ... too late for Christmas, but what about Valentine's Day?

If you want a rock on its own, £3 inc postage (they are substantial, it is supposed to emulate a piece of stone, y'know). There's more than 10 and less than 20 ...
For another £2 (£5 total), I'll throw in a professional quality apple corer that was retailing at a catalogue price of £10 plus postage earlier in the year ...
