Some of you may remember I used to blog under the name AffiliateStudent, now I'm not a student or affiliate marketer (not much anyway) anymore and so I thought it was time for a new blog.

I present EcommerceRide.com , it's only got 3 posts so don't get too excited  , you may find this the most interesting as it describes how I started, going from £100 a day as a student to £5 a day etc.

Posting it here to share as well as if you have any ecommerce related questions you want me to blog about let me know.

New post: How to start an Ecommerce store with £100

£100 a day to £5 a day? I'd keep that quiet :)*

Good to see you blogging again!

*I see it was a life lesson not a typo.

Sounds good. A post on dropshipping would be interesting - how to find good ones, how to set it up etc.

The posts I most enjoy reading are story based, with genuinely useful take-aways, whether that's advice learned from experience or tools to recommend. Good luck with it :)

Yep, luckily as it was while I was at Uni it just meant less beer money ;)

Sure, I see people asking about dropshipping quite lot on various forums etc so I'll definitely be posting a guide on it.

Yep these are the type I enjoy the most too, I'm going to aim to write as many with real life examples of how/why I did something, the results, what worked/didn't etc.

Good luck with the blog Max , +2 on the drop shipping. Always a nightmare trying to find good dropshippers ( especially UK based ones )

Enjoyed the read Max, though a bit of proof reading is needed ;)

I'm sure we use to chat on affiliates4u quite often back in the day...probably said that before.

As for drop-shipping, urgh, can't beat being in full control of stock/assets :D and completing the entire process as I've done with my business; sure I could write tons of stories on my ecommerce business adventures if I had the time and my memory was better! I do however love the trading of virtual goods more, so much less hassle than deliveries/collections, returns and timescales!

Agree with what Ian has said above, we stock all of our own products.

Would be interested to see a post on your experience with drop shipping though as (for non-personalised items) we've always had issues.

I hate proof reading, I have just done it through again so hopefully picked some bits up. :)

More than likely, I was a frequent poster on Affiliates4u before it went downhill
