On March 17-20, 2025, it.com Domains joined CloudFest in Europa-Park, Germany. Joe Alagna, Chief Strategy Officer, Tess Diaz, Director of Channel Development, Sergey Gorbunov, Director of Registry Services, Rolandas Japertas, Business Development Manager, Alessandro Baruffi, Director of International Partnerships, and Munir Badr, Advisor, represented the company at the event.

CloudFest is one of the largest events focused on internet infrastructure, bringing together the global cloud computing industry. It’s a festival of learning, sharing, networking, and partnerships, held in a theme park in Germany’s Black Forest, attracting over 9,000 industry leaders.

This year’s event showcased the rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI) in cloud infrastructure. Companies presented solutions based on AI that automate tasks, improve security, and enhance efficiency in cloud computing.

However, AI isn’t just limited to cloud computing. It has also had a significant impact on the domain space. Discussions at CloudFest highlighted how AI could used for:

  • Domain Name Generation and Valuation; AI-powered tools assist businesses in finding suitable domain names and assessing their market value.
  • Cybersecurity and Fraud Detection; AI helps improve security by identifying malicious domains and preventing cyber threats.
  • SEO (search engine optimization) and Website Optimization; AI-generated insights improve websites’ search engine rankings.
  • AI in DNS (domain name system) Management; predictive analytics optimize traffic flow and prevent downtime.
CloudFest 2025 once again proved to be one of the most important events for cloud and AI innovation. With AI shaping the future of cloud infrastructure and domains, the event set the stage for the next phase of digital transformation.

It was more than just a conference; it was a global gathering where creativity, collaboration, and cutting-edge technology came together. For it.com Domains, this was a great opportunity to show how our expansion perfectly aligns with the current trends in the IT industry

The four-day event included keynote and panel discussions where world experts shared their knowledge. There was also an exhibition where participants showcased their IT developments and services. Of course, there were various social events for networking in an informal atmosphere. Some of these get-togethers were a little out of the ordinary, such as the World Server Throwing Championship, a favorite among many participants, in which contestants vie to chuck their hardware as far as they can.

A concert for CloudFest’s participants
CloudFest 2025 wasn’t just about technology — it was about people. The event was an amazing opportunity to meet professionals from all over the world, exchange ideas and make new connections. Whether it was during insightful discussions during sessions or casual conversations over coffee, the sense of community was undeniable,
