CloudFest is one of the largest events focused on internet infrastructure, bringing together the global cloud computing industry. It’s a festival of learning, sharing, networking, and partnerships, held in a theme park in Germany’s Black Forest, attracting over 9,000 industry leaders.
This year’s event showcased the rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI) in cloud infrastructure. Companies presented solutions based on AI that automate tasks, improve security, and enhance efficiency in cloud computing.
However, AI isn’t just limited to cloud computing. It has also had a significant impact on the domain space. Discussions at CloudFest highlighted how AI could used for:
The four-day event included keynote and panel discussions where world experts shared their knowledge. There was also an exhibition where participants showcased their IT developments and services. Of course, there were various social events for networking in an informal atmosphere. Some of these get-togethers were a little out of the ordinary, such as the World Server Throwing Championship, a favorite among many participants, in which contestants vie to chuck their hardware as far as they can.
