I like many other forum members use dropsystem.co.uk for their £50 per month droplist service.

Until now I have been happy with the service, however, on going into my PayPal account yesterday noticed that since May that 10 lots of £50 had been taken from my PayPal account instead of 4 lots of £50, this month so far £150 has been taken, that means £300 extra has been taken from my account by the dropsystem.co.uk payment system.

Since discovering this yesterday afternoon I have tried contacting Dale by PM, Email and contact form on the website but as of yet have not received a reply.

This may only be affecting me but I would suggest anyone else using the service check their PayPal account.

Mark.

Well, knowing Dale, as we all do, we can be absolutely 100% sure it will be a complete accident he doesn't know about.

I know he has busy on a project, which has been taking most of his attention, he will no doubt sort it out promptly.

If it is happening to anyone else, don't worry, Dale is completely sound.

Regards

Bruce

I'm sure you'll get it sorted and it's an error, I presume it's on a paypal subscription that you can cancel in the meantime until it's rectified, must have been setup with the wrong interval in the paypal signup.

Just had a response from Dale, via his passenger, he is driving somewhere on the M4 and will attend to this as soon as he gets back to the office.

Bruce

Hi Mark,

Yes - Simon and I have just this minute arrived back from a 2-day trip and we are catching up on email. Simon's investigating this now and will report back to you as to what the problem is and issue the refund.

Thanks Bruce and Scott for your posts.

Best,

Dale

I feel for you Dale, AD crashed when I was on the first (no-internet) holiday I had in 5 years.

Typical!

Dale and I have just got in the door after an exhausting trip to the city hence why we've been off the radar for 48 hours.

Mark, this problem was caused because you apparantly signed up 3 times to the drop lists. 1st time on June 9th, 2nd time on July 15th and for the 3rd time on August 18th.

As the lists are setup on a recurring basis there is no need to signup and purchase the lists on each and every month. You signup just the oncee and PayPal will automatically debit the GBP 50 from your PayPal account on the same date of every month thereafter.

I have just refunded you the GBP 250 that you have overpaid as a result of this confusion.

Just to confirm - nothing is awry with the subscriptions system on our site. This problem was caused by signing up with multiple subscriptions to the same service.

In order to make sure this doesn't happen again please login to your PayPal account, go to "Profile" and then click on "Active Recurring Payments". Please cancel all the subscriptions you see in there relating to our drop list service, except one.

When the drop list updates are released you will be able to retrieve by logging into your DS account without needing to signup again. Your single subscription will automatically rebill each and every month.

If you've any questions then please PM me.

Thanks,

Simon

Sorted now, over payments refunded.

Still don't know how I ended up with 3 subscriptions as I just login and click on the link to download the droplists.

Thankyou for sorting it out Dale and Simon

Yes, it's murder. Just when you need resources, they're not available. Anyway, back in full swing now! :)
