Is there a market for cheap software which generates a site for your domain, updates the content, and hosts it, giving you 100% of the profit.

I work in a website studio and I think this would be pretty easy for me to make with some good use of php. Would be a 12 month fee, with all advert proceeds from the site going straight to the owner of the domain.

What competitors would I have? Do they overcharge, and what do they charge?

Thanks, Ashton.

Thanks for the link,

Heres a sample time breakdown:

Domain Owner:
1) Let us know the domain + domain keywords + adsense ID + affiliate ID (if necessary)
2) Point the domain to us
(only a couple of minute or so, this is assuming they have registered with us and have a direct debit setup with us, for bulk domains the time would be reduced per domain considerably)

For Us:
1) our script would be automatically uploaded and initialised, installing wordpress, advertising script, custom theme and affiliate links. Then filling the site with content aggregated from other sites (found by the keyword's) it would use thesaurus and other replacement techniques to make the content 'unique' to google.
2) One of our staff would check the site over to make sure it read well and the script hadn't done something dodgy, editing where needed.
3) Generator would create 'delayed posts' for the next month which would roll out regularly meaning dynamic updating content which google loves.

Each site would take max 1 day to go live. (the 24hour period is just so our staff would have time to check the site before publish)

I think its very possible, and people dismissing it as impossible merely dont know the capabilities of good coding :)

I would estimate the price would be around £50, this would be including the design, the hosting and support. The price would also be reduced in bulk. However a revenue share idea could also work.

it's certainly not impossible to do, and doesn't require a huge deal of coding at all. The problem, and time-consuming part, is this bit:

Then filling the site with content aggregated from other sites (found by the keyword's) it would use thesaurus and other replacement techniques to make the content 'unique' to google

What is 'unique' to Google may not actually be 'unique' to Google, IYSWIM.

Your idea regarding automated content sounds very complicated. There are lots of products that will generate sites from product feeds, but I haven't heard of auto-content generation. I'm just thinking you might be better off concentrating on a product feed solution rather than a content solution.

Rgds

The content aggregation would be from a group of trusted sites (amazon for product information and reviews, wikipedia for information, etc)

It's also not as complex as it sounds, either through the means of rules, or a brief human analysis, it would be pretty easy to do.

I would expect each site would still require an hour of human time, this would not all be automated and there would be a safety net by having a human check the site's content.

but how would the content from wiki be unique? are you running some form of article spinning software etc?

Precisely, using word replacement and some other methods, I can take an article and spit it out unique :)

I would have to research more into googles methods, but I am assuming if I tweak both the structure and wording of an article, it should become 'original' to googles bot.

There's actually a few things about - I've seen one that generates "unique content" by saving Google searches - if no one comes along and searches, it runs a couple itself every day, seeding from the previous one!

You find then in places like Black Hat Forum ...
