internet on the move

can anyone recomend a good provider when i can access interent on laptop anywhere in the world (so to speak)

i am wanting to access emails/internet on laptop no matter where i go but have heard some bad experiences.

Suggestions welcome

I think Tmobile have just launched free internet to all there customers, just pair your fone with your laptop and your away.

tmobile are doing this web & walk thing.
think it's basically £7.50 extra each month for unlimited surfing !
great stuff! just plug your phone into laptop too.
however, no doubt international roaming & surfing is barred or premium rates will apply. great deal for in uk though.
orange are a joke on the internet front though. pop in & ask their rates.

If your going to wen n walk your phone get one that does umts or you'll be stuck with the slow slow gprs... Ok but sloooooooow....

Ive got a merlin u530 UMTS modem card that ive never used think they where like $1000 + when they came out anyway free to a good. Dont know where the drivers are just the card.

I just use a nokia e61 with wi-fi and grps if Im out of range.
