Housemate Heaven (HousemateHeaven.com - Find a room share, offer a room share. London) is a website that helps people in London find housemates. The site matches suitable people as well as properties by combining an Internet dating-style questionnaire with the details of the property offered or required: a selling point that has seen Housemate Heaven generate PR in The Sun, BBC Radio Five Live and London Lite, amongst others.
The site, which is built using PHP and MySQL, officially launched in January 2008. It is reluctantly being put up for sale because the owners are too busy with other businesses to give the site the attention it needs in order to thrive and grow. Importantly, the web developer will be available for ongoing work, if required.
