Image And HEX Colours

I've put up a website using images (of paid source) but they can't tell me the colour hex used in two images for the background and index. I suppose the only way I can find out is by continually trying to get a match by testing myself? either that or get the support bods to ask the developer direct.

I don't suppose there's some magical program that figures out hex colours from images is there? it seems an impossible task.

thanks for all the help and advice, I'll get that downloaded. Developers should include font and hex numbers when they deliver a website. I can't moan as I grab what they upload but it all helps.

Yep, siteowners should list what revenue they are making from their site on the bottom right corner of every site too.

It's a bit different when the express reason the developer is delivering the website is so it can be modified.
