Hi,

I guess you could say that I'm addicted to buying domains and so this forum seems like a crack house to me

I don't know how long I will be able to resist the temptation of all those shinny domain names - help please.

I own around 300 - 350 domains, sadly most are not worth very much although I am hoping for an upturn in the premium LLLL.net market once the buyout has happened - just when that will be is anyones guess.

Best name: I own a very nice cvc.co.uk along with the trademark for that domain however one I like very much is TWONK.co.uk, it may not be worth a great deal but I have some good plans for it.

Worst Name: Too many to list here really but I used to own around 20 domains relating to the word PIPE as in Yahoo Pipes, I thought they would take off more than they did and spent a large wad of cash on them - ah well, you live and learn.

I joined this forum with the sole intention of selling domains on behalf of the Internet Corporation, but as a result of mixing with you other addicts I've soon become a domain- crack -head myself, acquiring almost as many domains personally as i've sold for the company.. and i mean in the hundreds! Just like you with your 'pipes' domains I've registered a load of presently irrelevant domains that relate to new and emerging technologies ,these too may well be condemned to the domain scrap heap, or who knows, may be the pizza.coms of tomorrow!

Since reading your message i've registered yet another domain...DomainersAnonymous.co.uk It WILL be the last one i ever acquire.... til tomorrow at least!!

I'm the same, here's hoping that Carbon NanoTubes take off

I've just gone barmy (because of the high renewal fee's ) recently and registered 2 .gd's and 2 .cx's in the hope that they will become a little more popular. They are all great dictionary words with 2 LLL's and 2 LLLL's.

I must stop at some point.
