Only posting this so if someone else Googles it they'll hopefully do their research before taking the plunge.
Had a client ring me this morning asking if its ok if they pull the trigger on buying a domain name after speaking with this guy on the phone.
The domain is FTR ( free to register so would cost no more than £7 ) the .com and .uk available too.
So had my client not contacted me this guy would have probably made £1000+ for selling an unregistered domain. I know this has been going on years, but still.......a warning.
He's obviously doing well out of it if he's charging VAT on the price as well
