holly... ICANNs budget is impressive..
ICANN says its budget for fiscal 2026, which starts next July, sees funding and expenditure both at $142 million, down $3 million on its adopted 2025 budget.

So, the main plan probably here is to increase transaction fees for both registrars and registries. The registrar fee per transaction will increase from $0.18 to $0.20, and the registry fee from $0.25 to $0.258. Additionally, fixed fees for both will also probably be raised (no amounts are published).

It looks like this is still a draft document, so things can change.

.. is ICANN becoming a big taxation corp for registry and registrar businesses? :? hmmm... has anyone or any company ever raised a question of possible monopoly issues?
