Hi,

I'm new to UK domains, but not new to domaining.

Technically I'm an English ex-pat, but my parents moved me down here when I was very young, so I'm more kiwi than Brit...

I've been domain investing for around 2 years & now have a portfolio of over 700 names, mostly in the .nz cctld.

Recently I've picked up a few .uk domains & am interested in exploring this market a bit.

Sorry, I missed the Best & worst domain names request.

My best has to be GreatBritishDomains.co.uk, and my worst? It's too bad to list here, so I'll settle for a couple of also rans: 1.geek.nz no commercial potential there and flatting.co.uk I forgot that it's called flatshare in the uk.

Oh well, I'm here to learn

There is a great program on foxtel over here called 'Police Ten Seven' and its all about the kiwi cops.

Perhaps I shouldnt say this with a (probably very big bloke) called Bruce here - however some of the accents are great - Police Tin Sivin as its now known around here.

Incidently - I have noticed that if you commit a crime in NZ and do not have a criminal record more often than not you are given 'diversion' ie. no punishment or criminal record.

See the cycle there?

Thanks for the Welcome.

Rob: If you mean my .nz list, it's partially raredomains.co.nz with some of my short names listed at hz.co.nz. I have more 1 character names listed than that & I've had a bit of a buying spree since I last updated raredomains. Plus I'm letting some of the cruft in my portfolio expire.

If you mean my .uk list, it doesn't really exist yet, but GreatBritishDomains.co.uk is a start. I'm up to 37 .uk domains so far but will seperate the "mature audience" ones before I get serious about that listing site.

Yesterday: Just my grandiose delusions, taking the name of the country as my nickname. At least I'm not living in the past

Please don't get me started on "diversion", or "the let's let them get away with everything short of murder until they decide they are invulnerable & actually kill someone" mentality. I've seen what that nonsense is doing to this country.

oooh good to see not everything I watch isnt true!

To be fair if you watch COPS most USA based police are shoot first ask questions later idiots and the New Zealanders are actually nice people, however the punishment bit is a tad odd!
