Just seen a tweet from 123-reg welcoming Domainmonster to Host Europe Group. Will this ruin DM?

ergh, they only have caught names for me... but still :D

Might get a tag soon what with these 1 year charge structures.

Interesting!

Does this mean the all the DAC quotas for DM, HI, 123 and so on are all now combined and the playing field is a bit more level :)

What a day, first king kenny then Domainmoster sell out I hope my wife leaves me for the third thing. If only Carlsberg did bad days!

Interesting question!? Depends on whether they are fully run as individual entities. Wonder what Nominet Tower's view is!

They are 100% definitely business linked though - Would be totally wrong if they had separate quotas.

Just because a company gets bought out doesnt mean it will become as shit as its new sister brands...

123 people leave the monster alone, it's been happily playing by itself for a few years now and everyone likes it just the way it is, please don't turn it into a sloth.

Not what I really want to be hearing, I hope it doesn't get ruined as 123 really are awful

Matt has put a lot of effort into DM, I can't see him in his new role allowing DM to go downhill.

Apart from own tag what are the best options? Any registrars that people are very happy with which aren't associated with 123-reg?

If you have more than a handful of domains, I'd always suggest membership and a tag, you are then in control, no 3rd party issues to deal with.
