I was walking home today and a car pulled up by the path. The passenger rolled down the window and asked for directions. I went over to help and the next thing I know there’s a super soaker in my face and I’m drenched. It got me straight in the eye which was bloody painful then they sped off, almost smashing into a taxi. I couldn’t really see much, but there were several people in the car and I’m sure the guy in the back was filming. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were too young for a license.

Yeah, it could have been worse. It was just a shock and a pain when I thought I was helping someone. I don't really want to be put on YouTube etc either, but people have had it worse. I guess it will teach me to be more vigilant.

This is the type of scum this country needs to come down on from a great height. My answer to this is tucking them away in 1950's-style military boot camps and having them graft for six months; either breaking very big rocks with very small hammers, or digging elephant graves with a teaspoon. Or working on the roads and contributing to the economy, but of course that's too much to ask of the current justice system.

I headed back and noticed a security camera not far from where it happened so I made a note of it with the police who seemed interested. My thinking is that if they went out specifically to do it then they would have done it again to others, so the police may do something, but I doubt it.

I know it could have been much worse with many serious cases reported, but it's really not on that this happens. It was just really annoying. I'm in favour of what you said Dale, but unfortunately it's never going to happen.

Well, maybe you could as long as the authorities ensure they all got an ensuite, a plasma telly and the choice of an xbox 360 or a playstation 3. Paid for by the taxman of course.

I was at a bus stop once and a car of lads threw something which hit my daughter on the leg who was only 9 at the time, it was an odd thing to throw, a water balloon filled with brown sauce, luckily it didn't pop.

It's annoying but I would rather they did this than tieing school kids to a lamp post and battering them.

I'm glad it didn't pop, can you imagine the mess! As you say it's better they do this than batter someone, but it shouldn't happen at all.

I feel quite pleased with myself after the police were unable to do anything with the partial plate I provided I saw the car again today, I recognised the car, the perople and best of all where someone in the car (not necessarily the driver) lives. I've now provided them with full make, model, colour, reg, address, description and location of the cctv camera that would have seen it happen.

I know this isn't the biggest offence, but if this overwhelming evidence means that their modified corsa will be given more notice as it speeds past an unmarked police car, which I have no doubt it will eventually do, I will be happy.

Screw that mate, get your own super soaker fill it with turps and squirt their car but purposely miss the windows and just get the doors, they will laugh at you and probably call you a wan**r, when they eventually get out the car then they will realise that they have new go faster stripes and a poka dot design :lol:

Hehe I like it. I'll just have to make sure I keep one on me for the opportune moment. I was thinking maybe filling up boxerdog's tanker, but it would be easier for them to repaint the whole thing than stripes so the super soaker is the way forward :lol:

Just to clarify I don’t actually intend to get even, or do I...

I got a call from the police and apparently they've had several other reports. They took a statement today and they want to push for common assault and although they couldn't confirm about the other cases, they said they're going to try and take the car. I guess that makes it even

As mentioned, I know it was just a silly small incident, but these guys are obviously repeat offenders and are known to the police so with a bit of luck something will happen.
