Exactly - thats what i said in my first post - but to know that sort of info you would of needed to be drop catching for over a couple of years.

Would be really cool if when Nominet sent you the reply to your Domain Request email that it indicated how many other email requests for the domain had been processed since the domain dropping and prior to your own request.

Would give you an idea if you were in the same ballpark as the winning catcher or way off the mark (as I seem to be all the time).

I prefer the open approach.

Bit of slagging off and bit of boasting back never hurt anyone, except a bit of pride perhaps.

I believe that the two tags are actually playing reasonably fair, and would vote that it is not them employing spamming/hacking methods.

This discussion has also taught me a great deal of what else there is to do, whilst previously it was just dead silence and they kept it all to themselves.

Geological Survey of.... Estonia! Come on.

I am aware of the LLL.co.uk market but this domain isn't a stand out one to me. Better than zkx.co.uk but not especially salivatory.

GBP 10K? Not many go for that price, and I doubt gse.co.uk will. Having said that... you just never know in this industry. Base metals turning to gold.

Yep, seeing the same strange things (or better: I don't see anything according to my backorders or credits in my account). Made a backorder there on Sunday, was charged through Paypal, but the invoice coming from dropcatcher told me I bought nothing ... Wrote two emails since then, describing the problem. No statement from dc so far. It's getting a bit boring...
Hope this problem will be solved soon.
