Hi All, could someone shed some light on this domain, i looked by chance last year for it and it was available hence i thought i'd found myself a nice domain so purchased it, my usual registrar informed me it had been taken so i was refunded, next time i checked it has a whois record but which had expired. I emailed them and they said try in 90 days which i did and bought it once again.. the same thing happened, failed.. So i emailed the registrar in korea, the .info registrar, two uk registrars and have still not had a satisfactory response or indeed any explanation to be frank. The whois says its trademarked but a generic with a .info, how can it be? i have never found a website acitve and you will see from the whois it expired in '06, ive tried drop catching software which wont pick it up and frankly at a dead end..
Any advice available? donation available if i can get it...
Many Thanks for any help/explanation..

You have no chance of getting this domain. It was registered on 31 July 2001 claiming a 1994 trademark. You couldn't register .infos without trademarks until 12 September 2001. The transfer status says prohibited so presumably this is one of thousands of premiums .infos registered between 31 July 2001 and 12 September 2001 with fake trademarks. These slosh around in limbo after expiring but are ultimately the property of the registry Afilias. Eventually, they will auction all these names off and something like Gold.info is likely to fetch $XX,XXX+. Alot of falsely registered .infos were reallocated by lottery via the second landrush and they all have the registration date 13 July 2002 but others didn't get picked up by the registry like Gold.info and were left to expire with transfer blocks put on them. Presumably, whoever registered Gold.info regged it for 5 years and it expired in 2006.
