Hi all,
I own and operate a number of taxi sites but due to the success of my Edinburgh based operation I'm stripping down my assets and concentrating on one city.
I have for sale GlasgowTaxi.co.uk (350 uv/month) and .org.uk (500 uv/month), two generic domain names with websites that are #2 and #3 in Google.co.uk
I was passing calls to a company in Renfrewshire at 75p per call and have been doing so for months. I make between £150 and £300 per month. I own the numbers on the site, as a buyer you can get them online. You pay 2ppm for call forwarding.
In addition, with a hookup with my other site www.localtransfers.co.uk I accept pre-paid internet bookings and make anything from £3 - £10 per journey.
Recently the company have advised due to council restrictions they are unable to go into Glasgow to service Glasgow to Glasgow journeys and as a result I need to find a city company to service the calls. I'm passing them the calls but not charging.
I've had no time as I work full time, run my Edinburgh operation and I'm starting another business.
Therefore, I'd like to hand this to someone who wants to make some money.
You could contact another Glasgow company and start forwarding the calls (easy to do and I can help) or you can setup listing sites and sell ads to four or five companies. To keep things simple I can either set you up as an affiliate for the pre-paid airport journeys or you can simply remove that functionality.
These generic domains are worth £x,xxx imo, considering the biggest company in Glasgow has the plural also.
I'm looking for low to mid £x,xxx offers and happy for a quick sale. Buyer would pay by BACS and the Nominet fee.
If you're after specifics just drop me a PM, I decided not to dilute the thread with hundreds of stats.
