What benefit does it bring though?

I'm guessing here so could be way off :p but if it were a sales thread you could see who looked at it (i.e. those interested) and then approach 'em with an offer

It would also provide at least some evidence that people had viewed a complaint thread, for example, so they couldn't then duck the issue if there's a dispute claiming not to have noticed it.

I assume being in "invisible" mode wouldn't show anyway.

I enabled the first part, I don't yet see the option for the 2nd part

The mod download is here. Once installed options can be found in ACP, vBulletin Options - Thread Display Options. :)

Being invisible would not show to the normal members, however to the Mod's/Admin it would.

Yes, however it's for 3.7.x and works perfectly fine with this forum should you wish to install it.

There is an update for 3.8.x if your planning to upgrade as well.

Edit: I would test it out on a local board first before installing it here.

Any updates on this, its a great idea and would resolve alot of issues it can also help us with sales great idea.

Why would you want to go about this board hiding yourself

Thats why you have a username so you can remain annoymous but admins always have your real details. I think thats very fair.

Look forward to see it :D
