Forum Facebook Functions

Dear All,

As Facebook grows in it's importance to all things internet I have added some new functionality to the forum, for those who wish to use it.

This allows existing users to login with their Facebook account.

I can add more functions so that Facebook users will be able to receive Facebook notifications when there is a reply to their thread or a thread that they're subscribing to or they receive a new PM. Do people want this?

I can add a News-Feed that will be published on to the user's wall when the user Logs in for the first time, Replies to a thread or Creates a new thread

Automatically befriend user's friends: If any of the user's friends are also registered on the forum, they will automatically be friends!

For me the main point of this would be to post new threads onto your facebook walls especially when promoting domains for sale.

Thoughts?

FB haters need not respond as there is little change to the Forum side of things it's more about pushing stuff to FB...

Nice one Admin!

From my perspective I'd be happy to have Acorn as a 'friend' or 'like' if you can create a page...and would happily receive a few threads onto my FB page... maybe 'general board' and 'forum news' ... if that's possible. I think that any more threads would overpopulate anyone's pages.

I usually access the site from iPhone App these days and I don't think that any FB interaction would supersede my usage of 'Forum Runner'.

Ive liked it too but it doesn't actually do anything does it?

Just sits there on the right, tells me I like it and that 3 others do to and thats it.

Have I missed something?
