Floating homes differ to houseboats in that they are built on same basis as a normal house but float on hollow concrete 'foundations' and have no means of self propulsion.
Popular in the Netherlands and other countries where entire floating home villages exist, apparently the market is about to move upwards in the UK now...
The correct term is 'floating home' but float home offers more brandable edge.
