Thanks for the input Rob. I was looking at the word Finance as highly desirable. According to NameBio every exact word Finance.irrigardless has sold for good money. That's why I bought it. It was not to get up your nose about .is domains.

Not at all up my nose. I was just pointing out that the keyword here is irrelevant as the extension has no decent sales figures. I can only see about 10 since 2009 and none of those were high values. http://www.europeandomaincentre.com...inance&tlc=6645&domains-clean=finance&x=0&y=0 You can buy the same keyword in equally irrelevant extensions - hundreds of them. Do they have value? Of course there is nothing to stop you developing it, generating an income, then selling based on that income. Until that happens I still think the domain itself is worthless.

What is the last major .IS site you visited?

Best to stick with extensions people know and want to buy/use. That means .COM, .NET, .ORG, .UK and other established ccTLDs.
