Hi,
just read a thread on a us forum. (sorry paul, helen etc) not encouraging people to visit anywhere else but many others are members there & this is scary if people dont know about this. basically it'sthe dangers of pushing domains, or rather having them pushed especially if there's a password on the domain. people can just take it straight back. avoid enom!

Hi mate,
it is scary. you are fine i think if you buy through sedo etc where they transfer into their holding account first. The problems arise when you push, or rather have one pushed. as far as i know it's not the case with other registars. normally people have one password for the bulk or it would take forever. if people pu individual password & then push into yours, if you don't change it probs could arise. it's only rogues who would do it, but they are out there. one to be wary off.
it's impoan to have enom or godady etc cos if selling to yanks they literally won't buy the domain if it's regged with our regular registrars. (look at 123 wonder why!) also the yanks are spectacularly arrogant at times.
i have an enom account just with one domain in . not in a rush to add.
also been reading lots of reports about registrars tasting domains once you've seached & before you can reg. goday & enom guilty on this. mind you some have said on here they suspect of it.!
