I have been contemplating selling this website for a while now, so thought I would post up and see the interest. Industry is free stuff related.
Since Jan 09 the site has received 78,000 unique visitors (average 8,600 uniques per month).
Traffic mainly comes from organic search engine positions (87%) with direct visits (8%) and refering sites (4%). There are no paid for listings or PPC.
Site has been live since 2003 and very well established. It's high up Google search engine for some good generic keywords which brings in the most amount of traffic, but there are lots of long tail phrases too.
The site earns through adsense, affiliate links, paid for banners and product referals. The site has continued to make money each month despite no real update since 2006 and the last update in January 09.
I'm not desperate to sell but set a price of £4.5k for the site (or offers very very close to this amount - won't look at silly values as already turned down low £x,xxx offers already)
