I think there's going to be a fair few domains listed on tuesday! ;)

i think ideally you need a bit of a rep to allow you to put a reserve on the sale.

what would be a good idea is one account for acorn users to sell via ebay then we'd all benefit of good rep and feedback

Well i'm fortunate to have a 200+ feedback rating from some old business activities :) Of course none are from domains, but i guess it will help!

Aside from any 'good name' auctions, the cheap listing price means you can get rid of those.... 'why the heck did I reg that' names.... :p

what i was thinking all ebay was for
:)

i believe that auctions where you get to choose an item are against one of ebays many rules, but it's not really a problem unless someone rats on you.

When selling on ebay how do you broach the subject of who pays the nominet tranfer fee? I dont see anything about it in the ads, and those that sell for a pitance surely wouldnt take the hit?

Got a new job as a council gardener so havent been on much lately, half dead every night after all that hard work, too many years as a computer techy. Still, pays the bills.

Is anyone else having problems with ebay today? I'm posting a load of items for my sister-in-law as shes away on holiday, i've got about 30 items to post but i keep getting bloody error messages, i might have to wait until tomorrow now!

Must be all those extra listings slowing down their system

D

When that happens I just click refresh on the page or 'back' on the browser...

Works for me 9/10 times...

seems to be 50/50 for me still! I've not got enough patience to keep trying, i'll leave it till tomorrow now.

Hi all....first post/reply....please be gentle.

Bought about 20 domains on .eu the other week....started with a couple and got way carried away...had to stop myself in the end....lol. Also found this one
www.ebaybuying.co.uk
and decided to try my luck on the selling market...what better place than ebay itself.
Have parked the other .eu domains with sedo / name drive for the time being as not sure what to do with them all.
How do you come up with a price for selling domains ? and have many of you sold many domains for decent money over the years....Cheers

Reviewed all my auctions...

Decided to post them 'prices high'... never know with all the cr*p that has sold on there for high prices, I might just get lucky...

Back to reality:

Any acorn member wanting a name can have it low, low, low.... Just PM me ;)
