Hello all, I didn't quite know where to post this, since I'm not selling any particular domain or a list thereof.

I am a domain finder (for SEO purposes) and am turning up a good amount of .uk domains all the time, that I haven't got much use for. These are non-spammed domains with good metrics, perfect for a private blog network or other SEO purposes.

So I am sitting on a good amount of .uk's already and not using them. Is anyone here interested?

I may be interested, but not willing to pay for a list if that's what you're getting at - one mans gold may be another's trash.

Best bet would be to reg them and then come on here and list them for sale. If they aren't worth reg'ing to you then they probably aren't worth buying...

The reason I posted this thread was as follows. I look for dropped domains with good metrics and I'm finding quite a few .uk ones. I am mostly after TLD domains though, because I can have privacy on them, and tend to avoid the .uk's. I registered a few that were good, but not more than that.

I currently have some 50 .uk domains with various PA/DA values (20+), but no PR in most cases. Dropped domains don't retain PR if they've been dropped before the last PR update. If the domains have good backlinks though, they will recover PR at the next PR update. In the meantime, even without a toolbar PR, they still keep their linkjuice and are good for SEO.

So I'm looking for someone who has a use for this kind of domains, and is willing to pay a finder's fee for them. Keeping in mind that I would hand them the domains unregistered, we could talk a fee to suit.

Alternatively, I could rent out my services for a flat fee, and actively find domains for you. In that case I would do all the checking on the domains and hand out to you all the clean domains with good stats.

Problem with handing over an unregged domain that you expect payment for is that what if the buyer doesn't want it for whatever reason (eg: they don't think it's as good as you do, or the niche isn't quite right, or the backlink profile is dirty, it infringes a trademark etc..).

Personally I wouldn't go down that route as a buyer.

Baring in mind, the idea of buying these domains would be solely for SEO purposes(?), then the buyer would probably be looking into setting up their own private network?.

I may be wrong, but if i'm not your points aren't all that valid in this context.

Of course it still matters - lets say there are three domains with similar DA/PA/PR stats:

Domain 1 has decent, relevant backlinks from quality sites. Say maybe even a couple from the bbc, telegraph etc..
Domain 2 has thousands of lower quality backlinks all with the same identical premium anchor text (lets say... payday loans)
Domain 3 has decent, relevant backlinks form high quality sources, but checking the web archive shows it's previously been repurposed to host porn or in a known penalised blog network

Would you buy them all regardless? I'd want to check the sites out myself with a fine tooth comb before letting something potentially toxic into my network.
