Sage's, Yoda's of the domain catching world

I'm after a domain (.co.uk) that is due to expire in the next few weeks - Dropcatcher has it booked is all lossed or are there faster systems or alternatitives?

Odds are that there are already many systems looking at it. They will be no faster than Dropcather, but will be more focused on fewer domains.

You don't stand a chance. (Well maybe a tiny one.)

FC Domains - OK so who are these other less loaded domain drop catchers??? The suspense is killing me...

Most of them are private catchers (ie they don't operate a public facing service like Dropcatcher).

Just about all of them lurk on this forum. They don't necessarily post on here, but they certainly lurk...

Private catchers, people not offering a service to the public.

DC will have loads of domains to catch in the same day, therefore the amount of queries allowed is spread between more domains = less chance of catching the domain Vs a private catcher who will more than likely have less domains to catch can query the DAC more often.

If your new to the game and the domain is good, then save yourself the tears and try and find another way to aquire the domain.

I know that doesnt really help you directly, but it might help you find another way in advance of the drop to get the name.
