Dropbox vs WeTransfer

Anyone had any experience of wetransfer.com?

Am working on something that involves sharing files and aside from a couple of nice touches such as custom URLs, WeTransfer seems to be more expensive and offers far less storage than dropbox.

Are there any reasons why I would choose wetransfer over dropbox?

I send loads of large media files for work and stopped using we transfer. It seemed to get very slow. Use dropbox exclusively now.

have just read something that suggested download speeds from wetransfer were quite a bit quicker than dropbox. Was it slow uploading/downloading or both?

both... although to be fair its was a while ago now. Its possible the sorted it out. I know loads of media bods were leaving at the time

In my experience, DropBox is slow. I use Google Drive for most of my cloud stuff but I don't think there's a custom URL facility - you could probably get round this with redirects or shorteners.
