Drop Catching Service

After some vigorous testing, building, and tweaking I am pleased to announce the release of my drop catching service. Using a fast dedicated server the custom built system is capable of reaching high speeds to catch .uk domain names with a close ping to Nominet's servers.

The system has caught all the domains that were used as tests which were found on the droplist of domainlore.co.uk. (I can email/PM you these domains if you wish). At the moment the system uses a simple form to submit a catch with a live agenda to keep clients up to date with available booking dates.

Current prices to catch a .uk domain name are at £45 + £12 Nominet transfer fee. We have a limit of one domain per day, which can be viewed from the availability page if the day has been already booked.

Hey Harry. Is there any chance of improving on the interface? Unless I'm not doing it properly, it seems as though you have to put your details in for every catch as well as the date? This is a pain

When a booking is made it says an email will be sent as confirmation, if no email arrives does this mean the booking failed or is it a glitch?

Harry, I still can't see any improvement in the interface. When you're regularly booking domains, you don't want to be inputting the date, your name, etc every time. Would be good to be able to login, check status and then book.

I'm getting "Google Chrome is having trouble accessing the network." and similar messages across browsers. I'm not getting this message on any other sites so a bit

Hi Marcoose,

This may be a problem due to your firewall, I am just taking guess. I did test the system on all browsers and works with Chrome, Safari, IE, Firefox. I will test this again to be sure.
