Ok - as we know many registrars offer 'back order' drop catching services for a small fee (£29.99 for example)
Now - It might just be me being cynical but why would a company potentially catch a domain that could be worth £xxx, xxx and hand it over for £29.99?
Obviously i know the chances of a high value domain actually dropping is very very slim indeed
But for arguments sake lets say i back ordered business.com (very crude example i know) - and by some miracle it did drop and by some miracle my back order actually caught it
Are you SERIOUSLY telling me the registrar would hold their hands up and say there you go - can we have our £29.99 now?
Cos i find that VERY hard to believe.....
Or am i just a very cynical person?
has anyone managed to catch a blinding domain?
Would love to hear your thoughts / experiences
