extension which is awaiting final approval by ICANN in 2011

Apologies if I've misunderstood you, but how can it be the same name ? You can't both own it.

Dotxxx.co.uk is worthless in my view. Using a word to describe a punctuation mark would create such confusion for starters. Imagine giving the address out over the phone, for example.

Also, new extensions seem to appear on the scene every 5 minutes.

That's my view, for what it's worth. Unless, like I said, I've misunderstood you.

Sorry If I confused you, what I meant is that DotXxx.com was recently
bought by ICM Registry for US$25K and was wondering if the .co.uk
version of the name would have any value.

Well, good luck with it. I'm not convinced there's value in the co.uk though.

.co.uk isn't a com and .xxx is yet unproven. So a bit of a punt on a punt I feel.

I can't see them making you a similar offer for this name.

LOL! Thank you for your input. BTW, I registered it last June and I was not
aware that there was going to be a .XXX extension, I just thought it was
an interesting name that an adult site may want to use. Anyway, I had a
couple of contacts asking me if I want to sell it, so we shall see...............
