Some "very interesting" ones in there - thanks.

What would make it interesting is if anon (but verified by admin) sales were allowed...

ie. £100 -------.co.uk Generic word

etc.

Would more submit sales if confidentiality was allowed as there is certainly far more sales going on than domainprices / sedo but people do not like publication.

Well I wanted £1000 for sexbusiness but needed the money, and I still need money but I'm unable to shift 'em at the moment :???: I did submit that batch of five for £200, you could add those if you want.

PS: I'd consider that pointless Rob.

Current top three sales in 06 are:
£45962
£22000
£13721

So if it was known that other sales were active at higher / similar prices it could be useful.

Yes, there'd be hundreds more available prices if it was anonymous.

Rejected bids could give an indication too.

Brokers could probably give an indication of others.

Others that have been sold/brokered e.g.:
£14,000 - generic
£29,000 - generic

Alot of £1,000 - £3,000 range e.g. letting agents .co.uk and generics

rejected bids for eg recycle of £14,000
rejected $5000 of house price .co.uk

Gives a more realistic structure to what is out there.

If some of the bigger sellers on the board let on, I think these figures would probably be dwarfed.

Yes but there's no point to it, maybe there is but all I see is someone claiming numbers and the person viewing the numbers thinking "and...."

Although as I'm in business and don't dismiss anything, it might be fun and may in the end prove interesting if there was to be a seperate chart with inputted data sorted between variables i.e. frequency of confirmed bids, offers, sales, then it wouldn't matter if it was anonymous or not and you can even add in 'real' visible sales.

But as for adding anon domain sales with just figure, I stand by what I said, it's pointless but when adding in all data and not listing as an invisible domain on it's own then it becomes an important metric especially if private buyers/sellers and sedo and the like were to submit on an official basis.

I dare say the likes of sedo carry this kind of data anyway? if not then they should.

I doubt it would be a case of claims... 'verified by admin' would be the key.

Depends if admin wants the extra hassle :)

I see this as important information for us all, how we would verify things is open to debate as at the end of the day, we just take someone's word for it.

Logging failed bids could be interesting, tho wouldn't this damage future bids?

Might be better or more useful if it was

£1,000 ------.co.uk Transport Related - Generic - 2 words
£500 -----.co.uk Health Related - Non Generic - 2 words

etc.

Yeah more info the better :)

Perhaps on the submission form allow the user to specify public and private info., or acorn members over X posts / exclusive can use anon feature.

There would be no incentive to spam as sales/names not known.
