Next summer (September) will be 15years since the quite brilliant David Brayshaw hosted Domain Focus in London. My favourite all-time domainer event of all time. Truly.
Feeling nostalgic I thought wouldn't it be cool to mark this landmark event in domaining with a bit of a reunion? For me it would be nice to actually see some old friends again rather than just via an occasional transaction email. I reckon I could press gang a few of the old faces to turn up. I also still v.occasionally hear from David as well so maybe he can be guest of honour.
B*llocks to auctions and sponsorships, round tables, early bird discounts (and Samsonite briefcases ), perhaps just a few drinks, a catch up on what domainers get up to these days, a bite to eat and maybe a night in a hotel? I'm writing this on a whim so whatever people think would be a good idea. (the lack of replies will no doubt be embarrassing)
If there's interest however I'll put in some legwork to help organise it*. I don't actually have anything to sell but I don't mind chucking in a few quid if it helps make it happen.
All the best,
Ian
*I obvs meant paying someone to help organise it
