Not sure if it's been broached with you before but recent events have brought this one up...

Have you thought of adding doamin leasing options?

Thought I'd make the Q? public as the reply may be of use to some...

Thanks...

.eu look like your rocking... ;) nearly 110K listed...

Hi,

Hmm, that sounds like something. Since we don't own domains, the onus would be on us to facilitate transferring the domain from leaser, lessee. Definitely something to consider, but we would just need to figure it out logistically...Could you suggest a platform, i.e., how do you think it should work?

Dear hakob, I may be old, I may be grey, but look up google and see lease way....z

That's a good idea, I'm not going to lie. Everyone follow Zee's advice and give GoogleSearch a try...

Hmm, I'll leaving the rhyming to you guys. But I did check out Google and there were some interesting topics and ideas for domain leasing. I'll bring it up at the next staff meeting and see where we get with it...

Take care,

Jakob

I found a extract from Sedo's FAQS saying why they don't recommend Domain Leasing.

Hi,

That is true, we do indicate reasons why it has not worked in the past. However, we are willing to revisit ideas as they are presented on the forum. Since it is not one of our core services, we currently do not have a standard platform available to operate it, which is why I asked for your ideas on how you would create one. However, please see the following if you are truly interested in domain leasing:

Let us know if you have questions!
