I feel anyone really looking for 'web developers' probably wouldn't search for web developers if that makes sense..

I guess good for a freelance web developer directory type of thing.

I did like the look of the domain, but I resisted ... I've got to sell some before accumulating more.

I would, and I have, because whatever they're doing is working SEO-wise

I do see your point but it carries a bit of authority and one good contract would pay for it.

Better for an aspirational developer than a directory IMHO.
