Beauty.org.uk
I was well pleased at picking this one up. My daughter is studying Beauty Therapy at college and this will be for her website. There is no way I would ever be able to afford the .co.uk, so this is the ultimate domain for her. I've already put a intro page on there and will develop it further over time.
As for the price ... people probably think that I paid a little over the top, but if you see it as an end user sale, which it is, then I believe it's a bargain! Also bear in mind that there were just two bidders, myself and one other, who took it from £150 to the final sale price, so I'm not sure that this is indicative of .org.uk prices, just that two people wanted this particular one.
That said I still believe that there is a place out there for .org.uk. You only have to look at the way dropping keyword .org.uk names are being caught, as people very quietly go about picking up some bargains for the future! It might not be the extension that's in fashion at the moment, but as with fashion trends it could well come back and have some degree of popularity again.
