Hello to all

I have made a personal intro on here and some may have read it and seen that I am also a Director of a registrar company.
Of course I do not wish to mix the two interests up so I will try to make clear of which I am referring to in my posts.
I was brought in to the company about a year ago and the sole purpose was to turn the company into an all in one solutions provider and not just domain registrations which has been a lot of hard work but we do now provide all solutions as I will show below.

I do have a question for all. What would make a registrar the one that you choose as your provider and a partner in online activity, does it come down to cost, service, solutions or what ratio of each helps you make that decision?
What could a registrar offer you to make your decision in their favour?

What would make a registrar the one that you choose as your provider and a partner in online activity, does it come down to cost, service, solutions or what ratio of each helps you make that decision?

Many of us are Nominet members and TAG holders, so don't use 3rd party registrars, however, the biggest issue that crops up again and again is quality of service and security. If someone is trusting their valuable portfolio to a registrar, they want to know that they can easily update a domain, transfer it with ease (whether transferring out to a purchaser or transferring in a new purchase). I'm sure you can take the time to search here for tales of woe regarding your competitors
