I am just testing the water with this as I may not even sell the site as it took a lot of work and has a lot of potential – however due to lack of time / resources for growth, I am considering selling it and wanted to see if there would be much interest. I thought I would look at response on Acorn before trying Flippa.com.
I have a well designed site in the digital marketing / SEO sector. It has really strong foundations for growth and revenue generation and it could become a really good site for this lucrative and growing sector
The site has the following among other things:-
• An aged .net domain name – more of a potential brand than generic – 12 yrs old (.co.uk also owned but not aged)
• Built in Wordpress – hence easy to add content to etc
• Various built in rev streams
• Very solid foundations– including good IA and SEO structure
• 80 + pages of unique, informative copy written by specialists
There is scope for the buyer to buy and develop/monetise in various ways and I have some good ideas on how this could be done really well.
Currently the site has low traffic and no revenue which is only because it has only recently been launched properly. However I believe now all it needs is an ongoing link building campaign and regular content addition to start gaining momentum and that if this is done it should grow pretty quickly because the SEO foundations are extremely strong (including the age of the domain).
There is quite a lot more detailed information I could provide around this that I think would add value to a potential sale and I will be happy to supply both this and the web address to any interested parties by PM.
However I will only currently consider selling for good offers around the low xx,xxx mark or above so please only request further info and web address if this ballpark is in your range taking the comments made into account (i.e. a well built site, ready in my opinion for high growth / revenue generation but no real traffic / and no rev yet and will require ongoing link building activity)
