Deletion Dates

Somebody told me once that you could almost pinpoint the time of day a domain was about to drop.

Does anyone know if this is true?

I managed to catch a couple of decent names yesterday with a 14Jul expiry, but I'm still waiting for some 11July's to drop.

Also, do names get deleted over the weekend or shall I pack up and leave it till Monday?
