"Starting at around 11:34 am this morning we had an issue with the
external-facing database at Nominet. Early investigations suggest that
this was a problem with thermal overload on the server.
We have taken measures to reduce the temperature in the vicinity of the database server and services were fully restored at approximately 12:02 pm. Investigations are ongoing and we will provide any further information through the usual channels.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this unscheduled interruption.
