Most people seem to just wait for an end user to contact them when they own generic domains - but does anyone try contacting all potential end users, and if so what strategy do they use?
I'm considering buying a nice all-in-one fax, printer, copier machine, making nice letter heads, and trying to sell some of the generic domains I own by first sending a letter to all potential buyers asking them to make an offer, then a week or so later faxing them all (if they have fax) making it seem like I have a high offer, but giving them a BIN on the domain, then if no response start calling, then maybe a month later a post out with a lower BIN.
Any thoughts on if this method will be effective?
