Wanted: Domain Appraisal computershop.org.uk 300K exacts

Hi Guys,

Just had a look at Google Adwords Keyword tool , computer shop got 300 K exacts in Dec 09 (xmas factor i think) .


How should i monetize this ?

I would welcome any ideas

Hi,

I don't think that the Keyword figures for December 2009 are even close to being accurate...

Exact match for [computer shop]:
Jan 09 3,600
Feb 09 2,900
Mar 09 4,400
Apr 09 3,600
Then the figures start rising steeply from June
..... through to
Dec 09 301,000

My guess is that someone or something is bumping the figures with automated queries, as [computer shop] doesn't even appear in Google's autocomplete suggestions for "computer sh"

Saying that it's a reasonable .org.uk, so I'd say that it does have some value, although I'm not sure I'd expend a lot of energy developing it until I had an idea of the likely traffic from a front page listing for terms.

In my opinion low £xx, but it is only an opinion, others may disagree.

A lot of the search could be people wanting to go down to their local computer shop too rather than order online. Not a particularly valuable domain IMO, low £xxx would be a good sale, but no harm in turning it into an aff site, some of the merchants available are listed on my computer monitors site.

A lot of work for little return.

You could do an AdSense site if you wanted, SEOing onto local computer shop searches, you'd make some money but maybe not the most exciting revenue prospects currently available.
