I think this is a fairly good name. Let me hear your thoughts.

No search traffic for the keywords - bad sign for an EMD

Compare is a good descriptor/qualifier for many products/services - unfortunately property isn't one of them. Not sure it's a market that lends itself to comparison.

It's not terrible. It might even be worth holding on to - but I think the best you can hope for is that a developer believes they can take on the established brands and gives you bottom £xxx.

It's not that brandable. In fact, it would be hard to brand because it is overly generic. Whilst years ago I would have bought such a name (see avatar), I would not buy one now. I would rather go for something distinctive.

Not sure search metrics matter for this type of domain. Compare deals has an ever lower search traffic than compare property, so does Compare Free Bets and Compare Money has slightly more, I could list several more but just look at the sedo search filtered results in the .co.uk namespace I have provided. I do believe that property is definitely compared buy buyers, sellers and developers. Each comparing different aspects of the property whether the buyer is comparing certain aspects of one property to another or the seller is comparing regional price ranges etc property comparison is not uncommon. I do believe you make a good point though, so many thanks for your opinion.
