.com auctions

Trader history (0)

Nowhere really. All the established marketplaces like NameJet, Sedo, Flippa and such have become really poor in getting even a fair value for .com. I mean NameJet, Dropcatch and GoDaddy public auctions are the best of a bad bunch but they're still not great.

They're failing because expired domain auctions take the spotlight and sell for more on average. For example take any GD expired auction sitting at 4 figures and I guarantee you the same domain posted as a public auction wouldn't even reach 50% of that value.

If you have good .com's, be patient and put up a landing page. That is the mindset you need to have with .com, not 'flipping'.

Thanks for the info. So just put up a landing page with an "open to offers"? I have some parked with sedo which includes the "open to offers" bit. The tricky bit will be valuation as I really have no idea. Registered most of these years ago classically for a project that never happened. I have several property related domains all along similar lines in .com, .co.uk and .uk. Just don't know the best approach to selling them, i.e. where and for how much.

I am learning a lot stumbling around the forums here though ;)

I highly recommend https://dan.com/ (used to be Undeveloped) these days. The best choice by far.

Yeah, landing offer page and be patient. Feel free to DM me your list of domains and I will offer my opinion.
