.CO.UK vs .NET and .ORG

Just wanted to find out. Sorry if it's been posted before, couldn't find much via search.

How do values of .co.uk compare to the likes of .net/.org?

I tend to be finding names either sell in a .com or a .co.uk at premiums, but rarely as much in .net and .org. Obviously there are exceptions.

Is this due to the commercial connotations of .co(m/.uk) vs the i guess less commercial .net/org?

Let's say comparing 1-2 keyword domains of 10k exacts?

If you are just starting out, it's not a bad idea to choose just one extension to specialise in.
