Names cost £5.75 from nominet to a member so £7.03 is not steep.

£1.28 profit, and that is not taking out running costs/paypal fees / etc.

123reg has bad reviews - You might want to do some research on peoples opinions and problems here: Registrars...

In my experience 123 are not good at all... cant comment on 1&1 as I have never used them.

Nothing wrong with 123-reg.co.uk

1and1 are in my opinion, the worst people to register any domain with. Using their website is like running through treacle.

123 is ok.
UK2 is eminently avoidable - that means don't even think about it.
1&1 does not, in that iteration, equal 2. No chance.

Watch out for clauses where a registrar tries to lock you in with high transfer charges and other crappy terms and conditions. Price is not the way to differentiate in this game.

£3.98 + vat @ 17.5% = £4.68

The names cost £5 + vat from nominet.

Either way they are losing money... not lots but some

123reg is ok,some moans,incl., me but been with them 6 years with 99% no problems, use a card or contact for info if no card, all best zee
