Hi
Well it's been an age since I first mentioned a catching service but at long last it's ready to go.
Lots of testing has been done and everything is as it should be.
It's more expensive than we would have liked but that comes from the hosting mainly and the new re write has made the catching much more reliable.
Over the next few days were just looking for any interested parties who may think of using it. Not planning on keeping the books open long as once your onboard it's unlikely we will lose you. So want to keep the numbers manageable.
The service will cost either £55 or £85 per month. Two months payable at the outset and billing via paypal subscription monthly afterwards. Should you wish to stop the service just 4 business days notice is required prior to your next billing date.
£55 service will have a charge of £3 for every catch you make.
£85 service will have no catch charges.
All service charges such as SMS when you catch a domain and script alterations you may want are included.
You will have access to a web based control panel where you can manage your catching. Domains can be added as far into the future as you wish and deleted or modified. Timings and poll rates will be submitted by the user to our admin who will make these changes.
We have purposefully made the control
panel very simplistic but in a way that you take control of your catching and as the testers have demonstrated it works very well.
The testers have not had any affect on the system and we did not use testers to debug or make changes. We simply allowed a few interested parties who wanted to use the service free access and in return we have found that the system is solid and performs well over a considerable period. Hence why we now feel it is ok to release to other interested parties.
Terms and conditions will be given to interested parties wishing to go ahead with the service but you should note there are some stipulations which you may not agree to and if so should not use our service.
All tags using the service will be published on the services website for the periods they are or have used it.
The service is for nominet members who abide by all of nominets rules.
One service per user and no second Services for users who may have access to other nominet memberships.
We will not enter into any agreement with users involving individual catching practices. What you do as regards timing and poll rate is upto the service user alone.
Only one person per service will have access to the control panel and users must agree to this.
The time delay dac feature will be added for users on a free basis and does not form part of your service.
Ok sounds simple and it is.
