wont there come a point where all the good names are held by either people like ourselves or big domain companies like Nokta etc.

wont the amount of names and more importantly the quality of names start to tail off soon?

The only reason i ask is that I'm thinking of getting my Nom memebership etc to start playing with DAC (I know i never gonna catch things like money.co.uk, but that goes back to my original point, who is gonna let summin like that drop????) but is it worth it?????

already has, research is pointng to tigher control an exending further the number of extensions..

I think it all comes down to a good plan and understanding of the market. Having a DAC script could be useful to some degree but it is not a solution to achieving better returns as a domainer.

There are many people making a good income from domains without DAC, just using dropcatching services when they feel it is worthwhile.

Certainly fewer quality domains dropping that there were 12 months ago.

One of the downsides of this is that the top catchers now often catch domains which in the past they maybe would have ignored to concentrate on richer pickings, this means catchers lower down the food chain catch less and those who manual reg are left with very little to choose from.

With all the talk on the mailing lists would seem dropcatching will be a thing of the past soon :(

So either get catching now or forget about it.
