What exactly would you like to know? I have an e46 328 but may be able to help you :)

I have a 2001 e46 330ci conv, its pretty similar to the M3, its been a cracking machine, servince intervals are wide and servicing costs have been very low £150 1st one , £250 2nd one ; its just clicked over 50,000miles,

Solid build quality, no problems apart from the wiper fluid container now leaks.

All the write-ups speak highly of them, hold money well..

Any specific questions? I'll try and help..

As I told Julian in pm the main problem is the faulty rear subframes on pre 2004 bmws

They have a very high break in period, something like 5,000 miles before you can really give it some whelly. If you can find one that belonged to a pensioner you'll be ok.

My 330ci cab had alot of engine trouble after only 4,000 miles. Only kept it 8 months and got shot of it. Its an ok car but very common.

run in on an m3 is 3000km

Thats still stupidly high considering M3 drivers fall into one category ;)

I had to wait 6 weeks for a test drive as they dont allow cars that had not been broken in to be test driven.

Ask the guys in the motors forum at Overclockers UK, they love talking about BMW's and are quite knowledgable:

Also, pistonheads.co.uk.

I sold TT (2.0 TFSI) and want something that (to be frank) I can rag the shit out of and wont let me down. Not that the tt did I like the cars looks etc but its too nice. I like driving hard and was cajoled into buying the 2.0 turbo - the woman said 'no one is buying the 3.2' its just as good but I notice the difference when you put your foot down at 60/70 there nothing really there. I drove mates 3.2 Boxster S other day and thats what made me realise how slow tt was... Once you go over 120 it really lags.

but now i see bmw M3 coupe for about 17k thats a 19x Alloys 4.8 0-60 300+bhp beast that eat most Suburau impretza for breakfast

I have to agree with you chris most bmw drivers are total W*nkars ;) (thats why I should get one becuase im a sad bastard really) but you only live once.

As for the M5 it seems no better perfomance really

I been on forums no fugger gets back to me about advice co im a bmw newb :

Here is link to sort of motor im interested in (such a drug dealers car)

Thing is its probably had the shit ragged out of it by someone like me, and going to fal aprt after 100 miles

Hey Julian

One of our customers specialises in BMW M3's. His name is Trevor Jones and he has his own site Trevor Jones Cars.

He is very particular in what he buys and all his cars are to a very high standard. Have a look at his stock and give him a call.

Tell him Justin from Montys gave you the contact, he'll know who we are!
